“Martha has the knowledge and experience to be our county attorney. I knew Martha as a prosecutor for the county’s office, as a board member at DeLaSalle High School, as a Hennepin County Judge, and as a caring and involved resident of Minneapolis’ Northside. In 1999, in response to rising, violent juvenile crime, Hennepin County Attorney Amy Klobuchar assigned Martha to be the Northside’s Community Prosecutor. Martha was part of a national, award-winning collaborative effort bringing the courts, schools, and community organizations together that resulted in the Northside and Minneapolis reaching record lows in violent crime.”
